This sermon was taught on 02/28/21. What is the responsibility of a Man/Husband?
Today we are going to talk about the importance of men in leadership especially when it comes to the work of God.

Heb 4:12 – What the Word does
Heb 12:6 – He who the father loves, He chastens (DisciplinePunishRebuke)
Gen 2:15-17 – God commanded the man
Gen 2:18 – God says it is not good for man to be alone
Gen 3:6-7 – Adam opened their eyes.
Gen 3:8-9 – Who did God call to? Adam or Eve? Man or Woman?
Gen 3:10-12 – The man does not take responsibility, he instead pushes it to his wife.
Gen 3:17 – God tells the man “I Commanded you”
All the curses on nature are because of Man not Eve
1 Peter 4:8 – Love covers a multitude of sins.
Matthew 22:36-39 – Love God and love neighbor
John 3:16 – God’s love covered our sin
2 Cor 11:2, Eph 5:25-27, Rev 19:7-9
Romans 5:12 – Sin entered the world through one man.
Eph 5:22-33 – Love your wife as Christ. How does Christ love the Church?
1 Cor 11:3 – The head of the wife is the husband and his head is Christ
You can’t lead when you have no direction.
John 14:6 – Jesus is the way. The head of the husband…you are to lead your wife in the Way.
Colossians 3:19 – Lead in Love
