The Fall – Gen 3:1-7

The serpent was more crafty – vs. 1 | Contrast (No eloquence) – 1 Cor 2:1-5
Did God really say – vs 1 | Contrast (God says) – Acts 2:14-17
The woman believed God’s Word – vs 2-3 | Contrast (The World may not understand God’s Word because it is foolish) – Acts 17:30-32, 1 Cor 1:18
God is a liar – vs 4 | Contrast (Let God be true and every man a liar) – Romans 3:1-8, The devil is a liar – John 8:43-45
God does not want you to be like Him – vs. 5 | Contrast (God wants you to be like Him) – Galatians 2:20, Matthew 5:48, 1 John 4:15-17, 1 John 3:7, 1 John 4:15, Romans 8:29, Galatians 3:27. E.t.c
The tree was desirable and became a symbol of wisdom to those about to die – vs.6 | Contrast (The Gospel is desirable only to those who will live but it is foolishness to everyone else) – 1 Cor 1:21-25
She believed the serpent and ate – vs. 6 | Contrast (They believed and were baptized) – Acts 16:31-33, Acts 2:41, Romans 10:17
She shared the fruit she just ate with the one she loved – vs. 6 | Contrast (Go out and make disciples) – John 1:45, Matthew 4:19-20, Matthew 28:19, Acts 1:8, Romans 10:14–15
Their fall brought the spirit of shame and spiritual death and wrath instead of wisdom and more godliness – vs 7 | Contrast (The foolishness of Gospel gives dead men life and true freedom, it also fills the whole we all have) Eph 2:1-5, Romans 1:16
